How long does an interstate move from Adelaide take?
It depends on the route and on whether you choose a dedicated truck or backloading. A dedicated truck goes straight to your new home. Backloading shares the truck, so delivery dates are more flexible. We confirm pickup and delivery windows in writing when we quote.
Is backloading cheaper than a dedicated truck?
Usually, yes, for smaller moves. You pay for the space your items take up on a truck that is already making the trip. For a full house, a dedicated truck is often better value and faster.
How should I prepare for an interstate move?
Book early, confirm parking and lift access at your new home, and pack everything you can into sealed, labelled boxes. Keep valuables, documents and medication with you rather than on the truck.
