Most 1–2 bedroom homes suit the 4.5 tonne truck, 3 bedroom homes the 8.5 tonne, and bigger family homes the 10 or 12 tonne.

Get a quoteHow many movers do I need for a house move?
It depends on the size of the home. Smaller homes are often fine with two movers; larger three, four and five-bedroom houses usually need more crew so it’s done efficiently in one trip. We recommend the right number when we quote.
How do you price a house move?
We charge by the hour based on the truck: $130 + GST for a 4.5 tonne, $150 + GST for an 8.5 tonne, $170 + GST for a 10 tonne and $180 + GST for a 12 tonne. The time depends on the size of your home, the big items and the access at both ends. You get a clear written quote first.
Do you move fridges, washers and other white goods?
Yes. Fridges, washing machines, dryers and dishwashers are all part of a normal house move. We handle and secure them carefully for the trip.
Can you help with packing?
We can help with some or all of your packing if you’d like a hand. It’s one of the biggest time-savers on a whole-home move. Just let us know when you enquire.
