When a dedicated truck is better
For a full family home, or when you need the furniture on a fixed day, a dedicated truck is usually the better choice. Compare both on our interstate removals page.
What is backloading?
Backloading means your belongings travel on a removal truck that is already making the trip to your destination. You share the truck with other loads and pay for the space you use.
How much cheaper is backloading?
It depends on how much you are moving and how flexible your dates are. For smaller moves it is usually much cheaper than paying for a whole truck. Your written quote shows both options so you can compare.
Is my furniture safe on a shared truck?
Yes. Your items are blanket-wrapped, strapped and kept together on the truck, with the same care as a dedicated move.
Which routes can I backload on?
Most often Adelaide to and from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Ask us about other east-coast cities.
